This is a key role, offering the chance to work with Key Stage 1 pupils as they consolidate their learning and prepare for transition to Key Stage 2.

Assessment will play a vital role in your practice. You will track pupil progress, identify gaps in learning, and provide targeted support to ensure all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL, achieve strong outcomes. Differentiation and inclusion will be central to your approach.
You will collaborate with Key Stage 1 colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders to ensure continuity and progression across the year group. Building strong relationships with parents and carers is highly valued, supporting pupils’ academic and personal growth.
