As we continue to expand, were growing our Bid Team and are looking for multiple Bid Writers to join us at our Manchester/Salford HQ. We currently have two key roles live, with further opportunities likely as the team continues to grow - so were keen to speak with people at different levels. The Opportunities Were hiring for: 1. Bid Writer – Morson Vital (Rail / Construction Focus) A role supporting major infrastructure frameworks and projects within Morson Vital. Experience in rail, construction, or wider infrastructure sectors is essential for this role, as youll be translating technical project details into compelling, client-focused bid responses. 2. Bid Writer – Generalist (Flexible Background) A broader bid writing role supporting opportunities across different sectors within Morson. Previous experience in recruitment is ideal, but were open to anyone with strong writing skills, whether you come from another industry, a coordinator looking to step up, or a more experienced bid or proposal writer. This role offers excellent development and progression opportunities, as the team is growing and new responsibilities and seniority levels are likely to emerge over time. Your Role As a Bid Writer at Morson, youll play a key role in producing high-quality, winning bid submissions that support our continued growth across multiple sectors. Youll work closely with stakeholders across the business to develop clear, compelling, and compliant responses that showcase our expertise and differentiate us in competitive tenders. What Youll Be Doing Writing and coordinating high-quality bid and tender responses Translating technical and operational input into clear, engaging content Collaborating with SMEs, operational teams, and senior stakeholders Ensuring submissions are fully compliant and aligned to win themes Managing multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Contributing to bid strategy, storyboarding, and continuous improvement Supporting the development of bid libraries and best practice What Were Looking For For both roles: Proven experience in bid writing, proposals, or other professional writing Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders Collaborative and highly organised For Rail / Construction Role: Experience in rail, construction, or wider infrastructure sectors is essential; strong understanding of sector requirements and tender processes; ability to confidently manage complex, technical bid content. For Generalist Role: Strong writing skills are key; background in recruitment is a plus but not required Open to bid coordinators or less experienced writers looking to develop Open to experienced writers who can bring expertise and take ownership of complex bids Interest in growing within a developing team and taking on new responsibilities Why Join Morson Group?
