Job Description Summary

* Oil & Gas: improving operational performance, asset availability, and system optimization.
* Power & Utilities: stabilizing process operations and maximizing productivity by managing dynamic voltage support and reactive power compensation.
* Marine: connecting the physical and digital worlds to power, propel, and predict marine industry operations.
* Mining: helping maximize operational value by controlling costs and improving productivity.
* Hydro: enhancing production, storage flexibility, and grid compatibility.
* Research & Test Systems: providing adaptable and reliable test systems across industries.
* Manufacturing industries: offering electrification and automation solutions based on efficient, standardized components.
Job Description
Our Graduate Engineering Training Programme (GETP) is the primary pathway for university graduates into GE Power Conversion, offering opportunities to develop skills in critical areas and work on impactful projects.
During this 18-month programme, you'll work on important live projects, contribute valued work, and be fully involved in operations.
The programme includes:
* Four rotations across Engineering, Field Service, and Project Management to provide diverse challenges and experiences.
* Learning and growth opportunities through mentorship, professional accreditation support, e-learning, virtual lectures, and specialist training.
You'll also build strong relationships through:
* IET paid membership
* STEM ambassador and volunteering activities
* 'Buddy' programme pairing you with an existing graduate
Your growth will be supported by talented colleagues, leadership, and the programme team.
We seek eager, hardworking individuals with:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
* A strong commitment to a career in technology and a passion for engineering.
* Proven technical problem-solving aptitude.
* Unrestricted work authorization for the UK (no visa sponsorship).
The next programme starts in September 2025.
