You will be responsible for serving customers, supporting colleagues and championing your local community, ensuring the store is the best place to work and shop.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer & Commercial Performance
o Treat the store as your own business, constantly seeking innovative ways to improve the commercial offering, drive sales, and manage costs effectively.
o Lead your team to deliver exceptional customer service, challenging the norm and finding new ways to make the customer experience the best in the market, in line with the Morrisons brand promise.
* Team Leadership & Development
o Oversee all people activities; from recruitment and induction to training and ongoing development.
o Build and champion an inclusive culture where every colleague is motivated, empowered and equipped to deliver outstanding service and achieve their full potential.
* Operational Excellence
o Ensure all operational procedures, health and safety, and compliance standards are rigorously met, maintaining an attractive, safe and efficient shopping environment.
o Flexibility is required: work may include early mornings, late nights and weekends as driven by business and customer needs.
* Community Engagement
o Build strong, positive relationships within the local community, understanding the vital role your store plays and actively seeking ways to offer support.
* Post Office Services
Some stores offer Post Office services; a P250 financial check will be required and verified as part of the employment offer.
