Job Title: Farm Worker
Location: Barton-Under-Needwood
Contract Type: Temporary
Pay Rate:£12.21
Shift Pattern:
1. 50-hour work week, including weekends
2. 12 days on, 2 days off
3. Daily hours: 4 to 5 hours between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
4. General care and welfare of chickens
5. Daily cleaning and sanitation tasks
6. Removal of deceased livestock
7. Monitoring and maintaining adequate food and water supply
8. Practicing good stockmanship
9. Reporting any health or welfare concerns promptly
Requirements:
10. Full UK driving licence
11. Physically fit and reliable
12. Willingness to work weekends and long hours
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential):
14. Experience operating tractors and loaders
15. Previous farm work or livestock experience
Training:
16. Full training provided on site, including animal welfare and equipment use
