Be responsible for the delivery and development of the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Services within Central London Community Health Care Trust (CLCH).
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
* Regularly liaise with local GP’s and other health professionals regarding patient care and health promotion. Provide comprehensive discharge and clinical reports in a timely manner to referrers (such as GPs), patients, and other multi-disciplinary team members.
* Communicate effectively with patients and carers/families through verbal, non-verbal, and written means to maximize rehabilitation potential. Utilize negotiation, motivation, explanation, reassurance, and work with interpreters when required.
* Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity while providing appropriate care based on patient needs.
* Collaborate with team members, including junior and senior staff.
* Maintain professionalism and be legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your work, including patient management. Ensure high standards of clinical care and support peers.
* Provide an equitable service for all patients, including harder-to-reach groups.
* Undertake comprehensive patient assessments, using investigative and analytical skills. Recognize professional limitations and seek support through supervision, peer discussion, or team case reviews.
* Apply appropriate assessment and treatment techniques in line with evidence-based practice, guidelines, and policies, including manual handling and confidentiality.
* Show compassion, empathy, and sensitivity, especially when caring for patients with complex presentations, such as victims of torture or mental health issues.
* Triaging referrals to ensure suitability for the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Service according to triage guidelines.

Shifts are paid hourly and weekly, based on hours worked. Bank staff are paid according to the Agenda for Change pay bands. Weekly pay includes basic pay and, if applicable, unsocial hours.
