Overview:
We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Social Media Account Director to lead and deliver high-impact campaigns for a leading agency client. This short-term contract is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can quickly build trust with stakeholders, and is confident managing teams and clients across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and execution of social media strategies across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube).
* Act as the senior point of contact for client relationships, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and delivery against objectives.
* Oversee content planning, creative briefing, and performance tracking.
* Collaborate with internal teams (creative, paid media, analytics) to ensure integrated campaign delivery.
* Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency across outputs.
* Provide strategic recommendations based on performance data and audience insights.
* Ensure all work is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Social Media Account Director in an agency or brand-side role.
* Strong understanding of paid and organic social media, influencer marketing, and content production.
* Excellent client management and communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and lead projects from start to finish.
* Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with regular London-based meetings.
* Available to start immediately
Desirable:
* Experience working with consumer brands.
* Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Meta Business Suite).
* Previous contract experience with fast onboarding and delivery.
