* Week 1: 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday
* Week 2: 10am-7pm, Monday to Friday
* Week 3: 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday + 9am-5pm, Saturday
The role of Warehouse Supervisor:
* Team Supervision: Lead and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring high performance and morale.
* Operational Efficiency: Oversee key warehouse functions, from goods received to dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
* Training and Development: Train new staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety compliance.
* Resource Allocation: Ensure adequate resources are allocated to meet business needs, including goods-in, goods-out, and systems.
* Quality Control: Check deliveries against delivery notes, report discrepancies, and ensure standards of driver safety and equipment functionality.
* Customer Service: Collaborate with the Customer Service team to address queries and facilitate customer collections.
* Security and Safety: Adhere to agreed security measures and maintain high standards of health and safety.
The ideal Warehouse Supervisor:
* Proven experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Team Leader role
* Leadership: Strong people management skills with the ability to build rapport and motivate a team.
* Communication: Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and key stakeholders.
* Problem-Solving: Keen problem-solving abilities to navigate the challenges of a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in all warehouse operations.
Performance Measures:
* Meeting customer shipment deadlines 100% of the time.
* Resolving customer service queries satisfactorily.
* Maintaining minimal accidents or near-miss events.
* Achieving positive results in health and safety audits.
* Ensuring minimal discrepancies in stock count.
