Full-time | Term-Time | From £101.40/day | Start: September 2025 – Trials will start from Wednesday 3rd September

This role offers hands-on experience in an Outstanding SEN school in Reading, supporting children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and emotional regulation challenges.
Ideal for Psychology graduates aiming to progress into clinical psychology, educational psychology, child and adolescent mental health, social work, or therapy.
Why This Role Is a Game-Changer for Aspiring Psychologists:
Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils aged 4–11. Collaborate with therapists, SENCOs, and teachers using therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches. Support development of communication, emotional regulation, and resilience. Observe and apply strategies rooted in child psychology and behaviour. Gain real-world experience for Assistant Psychologist roles and Doctorate applications.
You’ll Love This If You Are:
A recent Psychology graduate (or related qualification). Empathetic, proactive, and passionate about neurodiversity and mental health. Eager to learn from educational psychologists, SALTs, and behaviour specialists. Interested in nurturing emotional wellbeing in schools. Experience is a bonus, but full training is provided.
