They're hiring Approved Electricians to deliver high‑quality installations, inspection and testing on sites throughout the UK. Based from Wakefield, you'll travel nationally with accommodation, travel and expenses covered when working away. What's in it for you £16.50ph enhanced OT, paid travel, accommodation & expenses when away Salary increase after successful probationary period 25 days' holiday 8 bank holidays Pension scheme (post‑probation) On‑call / working‑away / out‑of‑hours allowances where applicable Employee referral scheme Learning & development with professional progression Diverse nationwide projects with a supportive, growing team What you'll be doing As an Approved Electrician, you will: Lead and motivate site teams, ensuring safe, compliant delivery Liaise with clients and internal departments to clarify scope and programme Carry out electrical installations, inspection & testing; troubleshoot and drive continuous improvement Deliver reactive maintenance and planned/cyclical maintenance across live environments Complete minor works installations, conduct testing & inspection, and issue valid test certificates on completion Support fixed‑schedule new build and refurbishment projects to a high standard Maintain facilities to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Ensure safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools at all times Use an electronic tablet system to submit timesheets, test forms and expense claims What we're looking for We're seeking Approved Electricians with: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and 18th Edition 2391 Inspection & Testing (preferred) Valid CSCS/ECS card Full UK driving licence Strong grasp of current Health & Safety and safe working practices Understanding of working to SLAs and delivering first‑time‑fix wherever possible Flexibility for UK‑wide travel and occasional stays away Proven leadership, problem‑solving, and a passion for safety and quality Where you'll work Predominantly field‑based across the UK with occasional office visits when required Monday to Friday as standard, with overtime available (enhanced rates) Apply via the online instructions - HMIND INDHIM .
