Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint an experienced and confident Head Teacher in a vibrant and inclusive Primary School in Winchester. The successful candidate must be committed to providing high-quality education, fostering a supportive learning environment and leading the school’s dedicated team.
As a Head Teacher, you will:
1. Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the school. Oversee the development and implementation of the curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive school culture. Manage and support teaching staff, ensuring professional development and high standards of teaching. Engage with parents, students, and the wider community to promote the school’s values and achievements. Ensure compliance with educational policies and regulations. Monitor and evaluate the school’s performance and implement improvement plans.
About you:
2. Holds a Headship qualification
3. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
4. Have proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
5. Possess strong understanding of the curriculum development and educational best practices.
6. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
7. Have the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
8. Show commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
9. Holds NPQH- ESSENTIAL Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).- ESSENTIAL Has experience in school leadership roles- ESSENTIAL

11. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
