Our client is seeking an experienced commercial lawyer focused on technology, data privacy, data protection, and AI. The successful candidate will deliver practical and business-focused legal advice to our business and corporate services partners on a worldwide basis.
Provide legal support on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters for a global professional services organisation.
Advise on technology, data privacy, data protection, AI, and related matters, and provide general support on other day-to-day commercial and regulatory legal matters which arise.
Help manage the organisation's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in applicable jurisdictions and applicable network policies.
Support our Technology and Risk Management teams by providing legal support for their activities.
Help develop and implement governance and operational policies, procedures, and playbooks.
Review and advise on new services and solutions including the company governance process and specialized legal and regulatory issues focused on technology, data privacy, data protection, and AI.
Manage external legal counsel in multiple jurisdictions and ensure work is done on a cost-effective and efficient basis.
Balance the need to deliver practical and business-focused advice while managing company risk appetite and compliance obligations.
Make presentations and write articles on important legal topics.
Expert level legal skills with a demonstrated ability to lead complex legal and regulatory matters.
An advanced risk management and strategic mindset with the ability to quickly spot issues and recommend mitigation options that enable the business to meet our objectives without taking on unacceptable risks.
Expertise negotiating, drafting, and reviewing transaction and commercial agreements and advising on laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Balances the needs and demands of a fast-growing global business with legal and compliance risk management.
