JOB SUMMARY
The role of team includes the formation of advice and guidance in relation to entitlement to access healthcare in Northern Ireland, acting as a centre of expertise and advice for HSC staff, the provision and/or securing of awareness and specialist training for HSC staff, acting as a key liaison point with the Home Office and developing systems and processes to identify potentially chargeable patients and establish a patient's entitlement.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide input to the team's objectives and ensure product quality control throughout the life cycle of any project work.
2. In conjunction with the Regional Manager, plan, execute and finalise projects according to the strict deadlines, set out in the project plan. This includes coordinating the inputs from team members (including admin and legal) and from key stakeholders in order to deliver the project according to the plan.
3. In conjunction with the Regional Manager, draft scope, goals, deliverables, including key timescales (and subsequent changes, where necessary), taking account of views of senior management and stakeholders.
4. Draft detailed project plans and associated communications plan documents.
5. In conjunction with the Regional Manager, proactively identify necessary changes in project scope, potential issues/risks to the project, devise contingency plans (where necessary) for consideration.
6. With the Regional Manager estimate the resources needed to achieve project goals, and, outline defined inputs and resource requirements from other BSO Directorates and managers within the wider HSC.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
7. Experience in staff supervision for a minimum of 1 year
8. · A degree or relevant professional qualification and have at least 2 years relevant experience. Relevant experience should include experience in:
· Undertaking/assisting with / contributing to the conducting of system reviews or investigations; or
· Undertaking/assisting with the development, provision and implementation of operational advice and guidance relating to legislative requirements;
OR
5 years relevant experience in:
· Undertaking/assisting with / contributing to the conducting of system reviews or investigations;
or
· Undertaking/assisting with the development, provision and implementation of operational advice and guidance relating to legislative requirements;
