Role: Site Supervisor
Rate of pay: £16 - £18 per hour
Location: Moseley, B13
**About the role**
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist education provider for a Site Supervisor to join their established site team. This is a key operational role, supporting the safe, secure and effective running of multiple school sites and helping to maintain a positive learning environment for pupils and staff.
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, the successful candidate will work independently within school guidelines while collaborating closely with colleagues and external contractors.
**Role Requirements**
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school premises across multiple sites, including:
* Ensuring the security, safety and operational readiness of all buildings
* Managing repairs, maintenance and grounds work within delegated budgets
* Monitoring and liaising with external contractors to ensure work is completed to a high standard
* Opening and securing buildings, including shared keyholder and call-out responsibilities
* Overseeing health and safety compliance, including COSHH, fire safety, CCTV and working at height
* Carrying out routine checks of school vehicles, equipment and site infrastructure
* Supporting lettings, porterage duties and seasonal tasks such as gritting and snow clearance
**About The School**
We are seeking a reliable, practical and well-organised individual who can manage a varied workload and respond effectively to changing priorities. You will ideally have:
* Relevant site supervision, caretaking or maintenance experience
* Experience supervising contractors and overseeing site works
* A good understanding of health and safety regulations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work on your own initiative and make sound decisions
* A driving licence (desirable)
Previous experience in a school environment is advantageous but not essential.
