KOOSA Kids are recruiting for a Breakfast Club Childcare Assistant at our club at Church Crookham Junior School in Fleet, Hampshire (GU52).
Role
As a Breakfast Club Childcare Assistant, you will actively and enthusiastically assist the Breakfast Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the Breakfast Club. Following direction from the Breakfast Club Manager, you will assist in providing breakfast as well as delivering the scheduled programme of activities for the children attending the breakfast club. You will ensure all activities are delivered to KOOSA Kids and Ofsted standards at all times. You will provide a safe and secure environment for the children in your care to explore, grow and have FUN!
Responsibilities
* Actively and enthusiastically assist the Breakfast Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the Breakfast Club at Church Crookham Junior School in Fleet, Hampshire (GU52).
* Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of the children’s breakfasts.
* Be aware of and maintain sensitivity for any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary).
* Develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding.
* Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.
* Would suit somebody with experience of working in a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant) or someone looking to move into the childcare industry.
Skills & Experience
* Passion/interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting.
* Inspiring, bringing fun and creativity to the team.
* Fun and energetic nature.
* Reliable and passionate about delivering high standards.
* Ability to relate to and engage with children aged 4–11 years.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate others to deliver to the highest standard.
* Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check.

* Full training and inductions will be provided to all Breakfast Club Assistants.
Hours
Monday - Friday, 7:35am - 8:50am, term-time only.
