This role is based at Cheshire Hall School.

Opening in April 2025, Cheshire Hall School is a purpose-built, brand new, state-of-the-art school. The school provides education for up to 120 pupils aged 5-19 and caters to children with a wide range of needs including autism and social, emotional, and mental health needs. This exciting opportunity serves Sandbach and the wider communities, with you at the heart of its development. Our aim is to ensure every pupil has an outstanding educational experience, with individual progress and care at the core of what we offer.

Our clinicians play a crucial role within the most integrated model in SEND. Across all our specialist schools and children’s homes, we provide unrivalled levels of clinical support, expertise, and breadth of provision. Our young people present with complex needs, including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and special educational needs.

As part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, you will support educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessments and formulations, you will offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people.

Our Occupational Therapists collaborate within our schools and children’s homes to ensure therapeutic support permeates all aspects of education, care, and support. You will provide consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to the educational and residential teams around our children.

* Be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC
* Have experience in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs
