We're looking for reliable, practical individuals to join our team as Mental Health Support Workers at Howe Dell Manor. What You'll Do
* Help support the daily care, safety, and wellbeing of our residents.
* Run or assist with group activities – sports, games, creative sessions, and more.
* Put care plans into action and update records with clarity.
* Keep things running smoothly and safely as part of a wider team.
* Support senior staff and help new team members get up to speed.
* Use digital systems for logging care, booking leave, and sharing updates.
* A practical mindset and a willingness to learn.
* Strong communication – listening, talking, and being clear with others.
* Ability to follow routines and think on your feet when needed.
* Team spirit and flexibility – day and night shifts available.
* Basic IT confidence for using systems and records.
Your Experience
* Experience working in any team‑focused environment.
* An understanding of how mental health can affect daily life.
* Support experience – preferably in mental health or related settings.
* NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care preferred.
* We also value life experience and a strong work ethic.
