Mechanical Technician - TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Mechanical Technician to work for a rapidly expanding retail maintenance team on a 12-week temp to perm scheme.
* Location – Newbury and surrounding
* Salary – Up to £41,209/yr.
* Hours - 6am to 3pm - Monday to Friday (Can be flexed for childcare etc)
* Weekends - 1-in-4 weekend shift (1.25x rate for Sunday)
* Overtime - Overtime is there at 1.5x
As a Mechanical Technician your duties will include:
* Planned and Reactive maintenance on equipment such as; Powered and manual entrance gates & Dock shelters.
* Loading bay equipment, such as, dock levellers and scissor lifts.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineer or Equiv.
* Or Mechanical Apprenticeship
* Full UK driving license.
There will be daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated, this may be reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails. Technology will be used in the form of a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.
