Role Overview
The Full Stack Developer works in collaboration with UX and Design teams, alongside clients, to bring creative digital visions to life. This role is central to developing new websites and applications, as well as supporting and enhancing existing digital solutions. The developer will contribute throughout the project lifecycle - from concept through delivery - building robust, scalable, and secure digital experiences.
Core Responsibilities
Development & Delivery
Build and maintain web and application solutions using a variety of technologies.
Consistently write clean, well-documented, and tested code in line with industry best practices.
Develop reusable code libraries and maintain a structured codebase to improve team efficiency.
Ensure projects are delivered within budget, on time, and to specification - raising risks early where necessary.
Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Implement secure and scalable architectures and data access layers.
Lead resolution of critical support issues, ensuring timely escalations and clear communication throughout.
Keep current with best practices in data protection and application security, mitigating risks wherever possible.
Collaboration & Mentorship
Work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines to meet project goals.
Offer guidance and informal mentoring to junior developers.
