AMAT UKare thrilled to offer a new opportunity for aWomen's Project Community Support Workerto join our team.
AMAT UK has been awarded funding to work with Women experiencing homelessness in a new, dynamic, empathic, and exciting way.
Our new Womens project offers support, advice and guidance to Women experiencing homelessness, and those living in the community. This project aims to empower, connect and support Women to reclaim and rebuild their lives, in an environment that celebrates their achievements, and supports them to understand the trauma that they have experienced, whilst building the foundations for independent living and positive connections.
The project is in two parts, we will accommodate Women experiencing homelessness, and work with Women in the community via our community project, The HIVE.
The project is centred around addressing social isolation, health inequalities, and empowering Women to come together and shape a service in the Medway Towns that is fit for purpose and meaningful something that will make an ongoing difference to all vulnerable Women, or Women experiencing homelessness.
Our work is about more than accommodation - it's about walking alongside these women as they rebuild their lives.
