Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced HRIS Lead to join us on a fixed-term contract at a pivotal stage of a major HR systems implementation project. This is a unique opportunity for a specialist to take ownership of the development, integration, and optimisation of our HR systems, with a strong focus on Access PeopleXD.
This is a critical role responsible for ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and seamless integrations across the organisation. You will act as the subject matter expert for HR systems, combining deep technical expertise with a comprehensive HR background to ensure systems align with best practice, UK employment law, and organisational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the management, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Access PeopleXD HRIS platform
* Own and deliver end-to-end HRIS integrations, including system implementation, upgrades, and third-party connections
* Act as the primary liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure smooth system operations and integrations
* Develop and maintain high-quality training materials, user guides, and system documentation
* Deliver training sessions and ongoing support to HR team members, line managers and team members to ensure effective system adoption and usage
* Drive HR data governance, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and security in line with UK GDPR requirements
* Ensure HR systems reflect current UK employment law, HR policies, and best practice processes
* Manage system reporting capabilities, providing insights and analytics to support business decision-making
* Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements across HR systems
* Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure successful deployment of new features and integrations
* Manage vendor relationships, particularly with Access Group and integration partners
Experience Required:
* Extensive hands-on experience with Access PeopleXD (configuration, maintenance, reporting, and optimisation)
* Proven track record of leading HRIS integrations (e.g., payroll, finance systems, ATS, LMS)
* Extensive generalist HR knowledge, including a strong understanding of UK employment law, HR policies, and end-to-end HR processes
* Experience creating training materials and delivering training to HR teams and managers
* Strong understanding of HR data structures and system workflows
* Experience managing HR systems projects and implementations
* Excellent stakeholder management skills across HR, IT, and third-party providers
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
* Knowledge of UK GDPR and HR data compliance requirements
Desirable:
* Experience with APIs, middleware, or integration tools
* Familiarity with other HR systems and platforms
* Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)
* CIPD qualification or equivalent
* Experience in leading or developing HRIS teams
