The Copthorne Hotel Manchester is seeking an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager

As Assistant Front Office Manager, responsibilities will include:

* Providing a warm welcome to all guests at check-in, check-out and all interactions with the Front Office team
* Ensuring standards and procedures are followed consistently
* Supporting the team on a day-day basis, by providing training, constructively highlighting areas for improvement and ensuring the team deliver required standards
* Communicating effectively with all departments, as required, regarding guest needs and important information for the successful operation of the hotel
* Being knowledgeable about the hotel facilities, promotions and local area
* Supporting the management team by participating in the Duty Management shifts

We are keen to hear from applicants with the following:

* Previous hotel Front Office experience as Shift Leader/Supervisor/Management level
* Excellent communications skills
* A positive, 'can do' attitude
* Excellent customer service skills
* Experience of using a Front Office Management system, e.g., OPERA
* Ability to work 5 shifts out of 7 on a rota basis

The Copthorne Hotel Manchester sits peacefully on the attractive Salford Quays waterfront and is within easy reach of MediaCityUK. The hotel offers modern guest rooms with a choice of Standard, Club or Suite accommodation. The Clippers Brasserie offers a traditional menu with views over Salford Quays.
