The Marketing Intern will work closely with, and support the Head of Digital Acquisition to raise the company’s profile, maximise income through lead generation and contribute creatively to the continued growth and development of the organisation. The role will involve various aspects of marketing, including a rotation between supporting new business campaigns, paid digital, and social media and community marketing.

This role, reporting to the Head of Digital Acquisition, is designed to give you hands-on experience across core marketing disciplines through a structured rotation across three specialist teams:

1. 3 months in New Business Campaigns & Content
2. 3 months in the Paid Digital Team
3. 3 months in social media & Community Marketing

You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain practical exposure to modern B2B marketing in a global technology business, while contributing directly to lead generation, brand awareness and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Rotational Placements

Rotation 1: New Business Marketing Campaigns & Content (3 months)

During this placement, you will support Klipboard’s new business growth by helping to create and deliver campaigns targeting distribution, rental and automotive sectors.

You will be responsible for:

4. Supporting campaign orchestration from concept through to execution
5. Using HubSpot CRM to build and deploy new business marketing campaigns
6. Creating email campaigns, nurture sequences and automated workflows
7. Building and updating landing pages to support campaigns
8. Supporting the creation and editing of content including brochures, case studies, newsletters and product materials
9. Reviewing and editing marketing copy to ensure clarity, consistency and impact
10. Managing and growing email marketing lists in line with GDPR best practice
11. Assisting with video planning and content development
12. Supporting reporting and performance tracking

Rotation 2: Paid Digital Marketing (3 months)

This placement will give you exposure to paid digital activity and performance marketing across multiple channels.

You will support the Paid Digital team with:

13. Assisting with the setup and management of paid campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, display and retargeting)
14. Keyword and competitor research
15. Writing ad copy and supporting A/B testing
16. Helping to optimise landing pages for conversion
17. Assisting with campaign monitoring and performance analysis
18. Reporting on campaign results and insights
19. Supporting budget tracking and performance reviews
20. Gaining experience with analytics tools and performance dashboards

Rotation 3: Social Media & Community Marketing (3 months)

This rotation will immerse you in organic growth, content creation and brand engagement.

You will be responsible for:

21. Supporting the planning and delivery of Klipboard’s social media calendar
22. Writing and editing posts across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube and other channels
23. Scheduling content and monitoring engagement
24. Assisting with community management and audience interaction
25. Supporting blogs and website content updates
26. Helping with campaign amplification through social channels
27. Tracking social performance and preparing insight reports
28. Supporting employer brand awareness initiatives

Additional Responsibilities

Throughout your placement, you may also support:

29. Coordination of marketing assets and materials
30. Cross-team collaboration on campaigns and initiatives
31. Administrative support to the marketing team
32. Delivering presentations to wider marketing teams

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

33. Creative, enthusiastic and eager to learn
34. A strong communicator with a flair for writing
35. Well organised and able to manage deadlines
36. Confident with Microsoft Excel and basic data handling
37. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
38. Interested in building a long-term career in marketing

Essential Skills

39. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
40. Strong attention to detail
41. IT literacy (including Excel)
42. A positive, proactive attitude
43. A keen eye for design
44. Full UK driving licence

Desirable

45. HubSpot or CRM exposure
46. Copywriting / design experience
47. Website content management
48. Adobe Creative Suite or Canva familiarity
