We are seeking a skilled and motivated Careers Adviser to provide high-quality, impartial careers guidance and support to students across our Trust. This is a rewarding and influential role, playing a key part in raising aspirations, supporting progression, and ensuring students are fully prepared for their next steps in education, training, or employment. Working closely with the Trust Lead for Careers, Careers Leaders, senior leaders, and external partners, you will support the design and delivery of a comprehensive careers programme that meets statutory CEIAG requirements and aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing one-to-one careers guidance to students, helping them identify strengths,
aspirations, and progression pathways.
• Supporting students with applications to post-16 and post-18 destinations, including
further education, higher education, apprenticeships, training, and employment.
• Delivering engaging careers education sessions, including CV writing, interview
preparation, and employability skills.
• Working with employers, colleges, universities, and training providers to coordinate
meaningful employer encounters, careers fairs, work placements, and mock
interviews.
• Tracking, recording, and reporting student destination data, ensuring robust monitoring
and evaluation of careers outcomes.
• Ensuring careers provision meets statutory guidance, Ofsted expectations, and Trust
quality standards.
While the role will be primarily based at Easington Academy, you will work across a number
of Trust academy sites, with regular travel as part of the role.
