A progressive and inclusive secondary school in Bath is seeking a full-time DT Teacher to join their expanding Technology faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a curriculum that values design, engineering, and real-world problem solving.
The Role
You will teach Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, specialising in resistant materials, product design, or systems and control. You’ll have access to excellent workshop spaces and be encouraged to integrate CAD/CAM, sustainability, and STEM links into your teaching.
Key responsibilities will include:

Teaching a creative and structured DT curriculum with practical emphasis

Supporting students in the use of tools, machinery, and digital design software

Contributing to the wider STEM and enrichment programme

Preparing pupils for GCSE qualifications in Design & Technology

Ensuring excellent standards of safety, maintenance, and equipment use
