Senior Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities
* Perform routine and corrective maintenance of traffic signal assets, ancillary equipment, and highways systems
* Conduct periodic inspections and electrical testing of traffic signal infrastructure
* Collect and process data to enable fault‑free analysis of equipment performance
* Analyse performance data to ensure contractual compliance and maintain accurate records
* Support emergency repairs and out‑of‑hours service contract requirements
* Commission traffic signal installations and ancillary systems
* Complete mandatory NHSS training and undertake ongoing technical training as needed
* Comply with all Health & Safety procedures and proactively identify and mitigate hazards
* Carry out any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the role
Qualifications & Experience
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proficient in product‑specific software and IT systems
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Flexible and adaptable with a proactive approach to learning
* Experience working at heights and outdoors (desirable)
* Experience testing electrical equipment in industrial environments (desirable)
* Previous experience with traffic signal and ancillary equipment (desirable)
