Teaching Personnel are seeking committed Teaching Assistants to work across mainstream and ASD specialist provisions within a welcoming coastal secondary school environment in Burry Port.
This role is perfect for graduates, aspiring teachers, and anyone with a strong interest in supporting learners with diverse needs.
You'll be working within a well‑established 11-16 secondary setting known for its strong community ethos, high‑quality teaching, and excellent pastoral support. The school fosters a family spirit and prioritises pupil wellbeing and guidance.
The setting is situated in beautiful coastal surroundings and is recognised for consistently positive behaviour, varied extra‑curricular activities, and dedicated staff who help pupils grow into confident, well‑rounded individuals.
There is also a specialist ASD provision on site, which is expanding significantly over the coming years to meet growing local demand. Capacity is planned to increase from around 30 places to 65 by 2029, with ongoing support for learners with additional needs being a key priority in the area.

* £92-£110 per day, dependent on role and responsibilities
* This is supply‑based work, meaning hours may vary and work is not guaranteed, but regular opportunities are available based on school needs and your flexibility.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
