This role does not qualify for visa sponsorship. Shaftesbury Kenway Court is recruiting for Enabling Support Workers. The service focuses on inclusion and support across disability services, with a person-centred, flexible approach to care.
Kenway Court is a residential, community-focused care home in Southend-on-Sea. The service supports people with intellectual and physical disabilities, offering nursing support to those with complex needs. People who live at Kenway Court have wide individual choices, with active support from staff. Our aim is to enable a full and flourishing life for the people we support.
Responsibilities
As an Enabling Support Worker, you will:
* Provide support and encouragement by taking direction from the person supported and the person-centred support plan.
* Maintain accurate records at work in line with service requirements.
* Possibly administer personal care and medication as required.
* Cover sleep-in sessions if needed, with an additional payment of £60 per sleep-in.
