We are recruiting a passionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Derby, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ASD and complex learning needs.
The Role
Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual EHCP needs
Creating a structured, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Working closely with support staff, SENCOs and external professionals
Using trauma-informed and relationship-based approaches
Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
Essential Requirements
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
✔ Proven experience teaching within SEN or specialist settings
✔ Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
