We are currently looking to welcome a Female Support Worker into our learning disabilities team in Harborne, Birmingham.
This service supports 2 ladies with learning disabilities within their own home. Our service users are really outgoing and always like to be doing something, whether it's enjoy completing jigsaws, baking cakes and cupcakes, watching soaps, and many more activities!
Support Worker Duties:
Provide personal care and support with domestic tasks e.g. cooking, cleaning etc.
Enable them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community and to develop their abilities as fully as possible.
Be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the service, which may include daytimes, evenings, weekends, sleep ins and bank holidays.
Experience is desirable but not essential for this role, as full ongoing training will be provided.
