Role: Optimization Editor
We are seeking an Optimization Editor to join our new team working the UK late shift (4pm - 1am, Monday - Friday, with some weekends). This role involves working within a small team of digital publishing experts to expand our rapidly growing news brand.
The ideal candidate will have a strong news background, comprehensive knowledge of digital publishing (SEO, social media, editing), and the ability to independently optimize content for large audiences. This role is suitable for those looking to advance their careers, with responsibilities including crafting headlines, editing news copy, and planning content for major events.
The candidate should have a keen interest in the news industry, the future of journalism, and AI applications on platforms like Bulletin. Experience in a similar role is essential. This is a middleweight to senior position, involving regular communication with senior colleagues, including the Head of Growth.
Applicants must be comfortable managing multiple priorities calmly and methodically. The role offers hybrid or remote working, with periodic training at our London HQ. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
