Job Description
A HSE Advisor (Regional) will:
* Advise and guide all staff on issues related to health, safety and environment.
* Travel often between various Derbyshire and Lincolnshire sites.
* Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
* Provide COSHH assessments where required and ensure effectiveness of Supply Chain documentation.
* Deliver training sessions on health and safety procedures.
* Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with site managers and supervisors to reinforce safety measures.
* Monitor fire precautions to ensure compliance.
* Report on health and safety observations and suggest improvements.
* Involved in the investigation and reporting of all incidents.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HSE Advisor (Regional) should have:
* A strong background (5 years or more) in HSE advisory roles.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* CDM and Hard Facilities Management experience.
* The ability to conduct risk assessments effectively.
* Experience in delivering health and safety training.
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Defence, Healthcare or high-risk environment experience (desirable).
* A background in the Building and Construction sector.
