Automotive Bodyshop Prepper needed in Harlow, Essex Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. Salary: Competitive, based on experience up to £35,000 p.a. Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.30pm.Our motor trade client prides themselves on delivering high-quality automotive body repairs and refinishing services. As they continue to grow, they are looking to add to their talented team with a skilled Automotive Bodyshop Prepper who has a strong attention to detail and a passion for the auto body industry. Key Responsibilities of this Bodyshop Prepper role include: Prepare vehicles for painting, ensuring all surfaces are clean and smooth. Mask and cover areas not to be painted, including windows, trim, and other sensitive areas. Prep and prime vehicles to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish. Work closely with painters and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow. Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.Required Skills & Experience for the Bodyshop Prepper role: Proven experience as an Automotive Bodyshop Prepper or similar role. Strong knowledge of masking, prepping, and priming processes. Experience with sanding, buffing, and surface preparation. Ability to work with a variety of automotive body materials and finishes. Attention to detail and high-quality work standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
