Senior Legal Cashier

My client is seeking an experienced and professional Legal Cashier to join their Dorking office. The Senior Legal Cashier plays a key role in the management of the Firm, supporting the Finance Manager in managing the Firms financial operations, ensuring full compliance with the SAR Rules and supporting both the operational and supervisory functions of the finance team. The role combines hands-on legal cashiering with leadership, oversight, and process improvement responsibilities.
Responsibilities
More specifically, the role will involve:
1. Lead the accounts payable function
2. Manage supplier payment runs
3. Able to cover and oversee all day-to-day legal cashiering activities across client and office accounts
4. Ensure timely and accurate processing of receipts, payments, transfers, and billing
5. Review and authorise transactions in line with internal controls and firm policies
