Key Holder Opportunity
Elevate Retail Customer Service and Store Operations
Responsibilities
* Open and close the store according to company policy, ensuring security procedures are strictly followed.
* Deliver a friendly, knowledgeable, and personal service to all customers, embodying the Fred Perry brand at all times.
* Support the Store Management team with daily operational tasks, acting as the go-to colleague in their absence.
* Process transactions, manage tills and cash handling accurately and responsibly.
* Monitor security and health & safety around the shop floor, reporting and responding to incidents as needed.
* Assist with visual merchandising, product replenishment, and maintaining a clean, welcoming retail environment.
* Address customer needs or concerns promptly, and escalate when appropriate to ensure complete satisfaction.
* Contribute to achieving store targets, supporting colleagues, and taking initiative to drive sales and service excellence.
* Participate in stock handling, deliveries, and regular stocktakes, following procedures to minimise loss and maintain organisation.
* Carry out any additional tasks as requested by Store Management, supporting the overall performance of the team and store.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a retail environment, with some responsibility for key holding or supervisory tasks preferred.
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills, contributing to a positive and collaborative working atmosphere.
* Confidence providing high standards of customer service and proactively solving problems on the shop floor.
* Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to operational excellence and upholding security standards.
* Organised with strong attention to detail, particularly with till operations and store presentation.
* A passion for retail, learning, and supporting a vibrant and diverse team.
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends, evenings and peak trading periods, as required by the store schedule.
