About You
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / equivalent)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks would be beneficial
* Previous leadership or team support experience would be advantageous
About Your Role
Always
* Prepare and finalise year end accounts and corporation tax returns for a range of entities including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
* Deliver a high standard of service to clients and maintain strong relationships
* Support and mentor junior staff and offshore team members
* Ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines
Often
* Review bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts
* Assist with workflow management and improving internal processes
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams and locations
Occasionally
* Assist with the implementation of new accounting systems and technology
* Support wider practice initiatives and process improvements
* Travel occasionally for internal collaboration or training

* Work in isolation without team support or collaboration
* Claim the office biscuits were eaten by the spreadsheet formulas
