Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced multi-skilled Field Service or Maintenance Engineer with hands on exposure to tablet presses / pill pressing capital equipment. You will work from a UK office and support customers across the UK and Ireland with scheduled maintenance and calibration services (80% of the time) and occasional week-long projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and perform maintenance and calibration on tablet presses and pill pressing capital equipment.
* Provide remote technical support and account management.
* Support installation, commissioning and training of equipment, often alongside a German engineer from the principal.
* Travel within the UK and Ireland as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience with tablet presses or pill pressing capital equipment in a pharmaceutical setting.
* Exposure to PLCs (Allen Bradley, Schneider, or especially Siemens). Plug-and-play PLC work is common.
* Strong communication skills and flexibility to spend nights away (up to 1:3 nights per week).

* Basic salary up to £60,000.

Location & Travel
UK based – ideally on the motorway network. Commutable locations include Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, London, Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Oxford, Cambridge, Peterborough, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds, and Liverpool.
