This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys nurturing and growing existing client relationships and has an outstanding level of servicing. You’ll be stepping into a warm portfolio with excellent support, and there’s flexibility for you to bring in new clients if that’s something you enjoy. What you’ll be doing: Managing a portfolio of mid-market clients (GWP £10k – £100k), ensuring exceptional service and retention. Working closely with a supportive team to deliver tailored insurance solutions. Overseeing renewals and ensuring clients’ evolving needs are met. Acting as a trusted advisor and building long-term relationships with local businesses. Collaborating with the internal new business team where needed. Supporting and mentoring junior team members if desired. What you’ll need: Experience as a Commercial Account Executive or an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking to step up. A passion for client service and relationship management. Ability to quickly build rapport with preexisting clients. What you’ll get in return: Base salary of up to £80,000, depending on experience. Flexible hybrid working – ideally 1–2 days in the office, the rest from home. Established, warm portfolio of East Midlands-based clients to take over. Bonus structure on new business: 10% of 40% allocation if you hit 100% of target. Supportive and collaborative environment with clear progression opportunities.
