The primary responsibilities of this section involve fatigue and fracture design and consultancy services, and organising mechanical testing of materials (tensile, fatigue, fracture, crack growth, creep, etc.), using standardised and bespoke methodologies, in air and aggressive environments.The properties and material performance characterisation derived from these testing programmes are then used by us, to help make integrity management decisions to support our clients (including through the use of fitness-for-service and risk-based assessment approaches).We are seeking a highly experienced person to be able to generate business, develop technology, drive strategic development, coordinate complex projects and foster relationships with current and new clients, specifically in the area of environmental fatigue testing, with a focus on sour service.Therefore, this role would suit somebody with prior experience in mechanical testing in complex environments (especially sour service), and/or structural integrity assessment, to generate business, lead and contribute to these projects.
