Job summary

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic and supportive team at Elmbank Group Practice. This role is ideal for a confident clinician who thrives in managing acute and same-day presentations, with the autonomy to assess, diagnose, and treat patients while being fully supported by an experienced GP and multidisciplinary team.

At Elmbank, we have worked hard to create a sustainable and well-structured working environment. With an established triage system, strong clinical leadership, and a genuine focus on staff wellbeing, you will be able to focus on delivering high-quality patient care without unnecessary pressures. If you are looking for a role where your skills are valued, your development is supported, and you can make a real impact in primary care, we would love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for delivering both unscheduled care and planned appointments, managing patients across face-to-face consultations, telephone triage, and home visits. The role involves managing presentations and making clinical decisions independently.

You will work collaboratively with the wider clinical team to ensure care is delivered safely and efficiently, while also contributing to a positive patient experience and the smooth day-to-day running of services.

About us

Elmbank Group Practice is a well-established, friendly GP training practice. We serve a diverse and growing patient population and are proud to deliver high-quality, accessible care.

Our team is made up of experienced GPs, nurses, ANPs, pharmacists, and a dedicated administrative team, all working together in a supportive and respectful environment. We have a strong emphasis on teamwork, open communication, and creating a positive workplace where everyone feels valued.

We are committed to staff wellbeing and sustainable working, with structured clinics, an effective triage system, and regular protected learning time to support development. As a teaching practice, we also engage in training medical students, offering opportunities to get involved in education if of interest.

At Elmbank we aim to create a culture where clinicians can thrive, feel supported, and focus on delivering excellent patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
