Hazel Tree Education are working with an SEN school in St Helens in their search for a Supply Teacher covering KS3 and 4.
The school caters for pupils aged 11-19 with a range of complex needs. Preparing young people for the future to make a positive contribution to the community.
We are looking for a qualified teacher with a background in supporting SEN students to work full time on a long term basis supporting the school. You will have the ability to teach throughout a range of subjects, working closely with other staff members and within small groups.
School working hours: Monday- Friday, 8:25am - 3:05pm
Applicants must have:
* PGCE with QTS
* The ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress
* A resilient nature, excellent communication skills and a creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Two references including most recent employer
* Right to work in the UK
* A clear DBS on the Update Service
