We're now looking for a Transport Operator to support a busy transport operation
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Support the management team and colleagues to ensure daily transport operations run smoothly.
* Check and process all driver paperwork accurately, including tachographs, PODs and relevant OPS documents.
* Ensure full compliance with driver hours, legislation and site Health & Safety requirements.
* Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety and housekeeping across the transport office and yard.
* Escalate any issues to management and assist with additional tasks as needed to keep operations running efficiently.
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Experience of working in Transport preferred but not essential
* IT literate (Microsoft office, Excel & Word) with experience of Microlise preferred but not essential
* A good organiser, capable of working on own initiative but who works equally well as an effective team player
* Good communication skills essential
