The site will handle the movement of customer-specific products, including beers, wines and spirits, within a fast-paced warehouse environment.As an Technical Operations Support Manager, you will contribute to the success of the site by supportingtheday-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring allrequired technical equipment is in place andrunning as it should.You will lead a teamand whilst carrying out their dutiesalwaysmaintainHealth and Safetyandprovide a knowledgeable, solutions-based approach to the Warehouse to ensure the smooth day to day running of thistechnical function.
You will liaise withvariousContractors and Customer, todeliver service plans andmaintaincritical inventory on site.Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hour weekKey duties of an Technical Operations Support Manager:Manage a team of TechnicalOperations Support staff, who play a role insmooth day to day runningof the technical function in the warehouse.Responsible forthe upkeep of the Critical inventory.Ensure allrelevant equipmentremainscompliant and fit for purpose.Work closely with 3rd party suppliers,contractorsand liaisons withCustomer Ops Excellence teams.Assist the picking and packing team by providing engineering solutions toassistin operational capacity.Monitoring all machines and ancillary plant to drive efficiency and reliability.Carry out planned maintenance,inspectionsand complete repairs with little disruption to the Operational schedules.Look for opportunities to continuously improve performance.Follow set procedures and guidelines with respect to Health and Safety and COMAH Regulations.Ensure good working practices and housekeeping are adhered to.Providing weekly reports toseniormanagement on status of operational equipment.Proactively make recommendationsregardingthe equipment to meet the site operational requirements and future development.Manage and develop the team,identifyingkey team members for the future and ensuretheyare able tofuel the Companys growth and succession plans.Recruit,trainandretaina team of staff that are committed to quality in line with the customers expectations as a premium brand.Qualifications Previous experience in a similar technical role within a logistics ormanufacturing background.A demonstrabletrack recordin managing high volume, high service driven warehouse operations.Experienced in automated or mechanical sortation.Mechanical background.Technically minded with extensive IT skills.Experience of CIP, ideally including formal programs such asKaizan, Six Sigma and Lean would beadvantageous.Excellent communication skills, ability to converse at all levels.A highly confident and proactive individual able torepresentthe Company and customer.Additional Information As part of our drive to make Great Beara great place to work.
