Overview
Team Manager - Independent Living Services (16-18 year olds) at Caring for Communities and People. Based mainly at our Cheltenham headquarters, working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend cover if needed. Please note that due to the location of our properties, successful applicants will need to have a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle. Experience in supporting young people with independent living and management is essential. We are offering an £2,000 welcome bonus to external applicants (see terms below).
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the Independent Living Support Services for young people leaving care across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, ensuring staffing, contractual, legal and audit requirements are met and high-quality support in line with Ofsted Standards.
* Manage staff rosters and provide on-call coverage as part of a management team.
* Implement new initiatives and develop a service that has grown from a few properties to 20+ across 5 counties.
* Reinforce and sustain positive support standards in new placements.
* Lead and develop senior support workers and the team using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to empower young people in improving independent living skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in youth accommodation support services and management is essential.
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Ability to travel to Bristol, South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas as required.
* Willingness to uphold CCP's values and safeguarding policies.

* Pay: £26,550-£29,400 dependent on experience
