Overview
The Retail Assistant has the opportunity to make a real difference supporting the shop manager in the success of our retail business by maximising and analysing sales figures to make profit in line with company policy. You will deputise for the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager on a Sunday with additional overtime opportunities to deputise in their absence. You will contribute to planning, creative thinking and developing relationships with customers and other community contacts, always looking for opportunities to attract new supporters every day and to increase the profile of Shaw Trust. You will also require flexibility to complete additional shifts during the week as required.
Responsibilities
* Deputise for the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager on Sundays, with additional overtime opportunities to deputise in their absence.
* Support planning, creative thinking and development of relationships with customers and community contacts; actively seek opportunities to attract new supporters and raise Shaw Trust’s profile.
* Analyse sales figures and maximise retail profits in line with company policy.
* Maintain flexibility to complete additional shifts during the week as required.
