AJ Chambers are representing a core client of our in the search for an Audit Manager to join their growing team in their Reading office.

About the role?
* Manage firm assignments to high standards, confirming arrangement, including costs and billing requirements
* Ensure high audit quality at all times
* Brief staff on client’s business and the pre-assignment instructions
* Supervise and control the completion of work, and to undertake 'on the job’ training including appraisals
* Ensure the job has been completed within budget.
* Laise with clients
* Maintain a high technical knowledge through reading and courses.
* Act as line manager to students and seniors
* Attend staff meetings and training as required
* Carry out other adhoc task
Attributes and qualifications?
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Experience operating at manager level in a similar role
* Proven experience in managing a portfolio of clients
* Charity experience (desirable but not essential)
* Business development experience (advantageous)
* Proven wide audit experience & producing high quality audits
* Audit experience within the SME sector would be advantageous
