Senior UX/UI Designer role at PA Consulting, London, United Kingdom. We are a global team of strategists, designers, and technologists helping clients innovate and transform.
Responsibilities
 * Lead complex design projects from strategy to execution, manage medium-sized assignments, structure workstreams and deliverables, identify and manage risk, and maintain strong client relationships while fostering high-performing teams.
 * Produce exceptional design deliverables across the design spectrum, drive innovation, ensure quality, and meet project deadlines.
 * Build and mentor design colleagues, shape design approaches, influence client decisions, contribute to business development, and lead proposals and senior client conversations.
 * Balance internal projects with client deliverables, ensuring seamless integration of design and business objectives. Lead clients through design decisions and rationale to achieve excellent outcomes.
What You Can Expect
 * Work to agile best practices and collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders; solve problems for clients and on internal projects.
 * Participate in live in-person whiteboarding sessions and asynchronous teamwork via Teams.
 * Hybrid working with client site or office minimum two days per week; actual hours may vary by role or assignment, including up to five days on client site.
 * Work across PA industries including Consumer & Manufacturing, Public Sector, Defence & Security, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Transport.
 * Join a collaborative tech community with knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring; access to learning budgets and certifications.
Qualifications
Essential requirements
 * You thrive in problem-solving and analytical thinking; enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
 * Design for AI-powered experiences and use AI to enhance creative processes (generative design, prototyping with AI, prompt-based exploration).
 * A visionary and pragmatic Senior UX/UI Designer with a proven track record delivering services for private and public sector clients.
 * Experience in a client-facing role (agency or consultancy), strong client relationships, and experience leading proposals.
 * Collaborative, empathetic leadership, mentoring, and fostering inclusive team environments; focus on excellence.
 * Comfortable across PA industries including Consumer & Manufacturing, Public Sector, Defence & Security, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, and Transport.
 * Familiarity with trends in service design and emerging technologies (AI, automation, digital transformation); UK Government Service Standard is a bonus.
 * Strong business acumen, ability to identify opportunities, contribute to business development, and position PA as a leader in product management and service design.
 * Strategic thinking, innovation, and proficiency with industry-standard design tools and methodologies.
Assessment process
 * Round 1: Competency interview (45 mins)
 * Round 2: Case study task (60 mins)
 * Final round: Meeting with a PA leader (60 mins)
