CONTRACT MANUFACTURING ENGINEER Industrialisation OUTSIDEIR35 6 month Rolling contract - Immediate Start available Fantastic opportunity for to utilise your Manufacturing Engineering skills in a project-based role looking at industrialisation and scale up on an electro-mechanical product. As Manufacturing Engineer / Industrialisation Engineer, you will be supporting the transition of new product, scaling up for volume manufacture, supporting all aspects of design for manufacture (DFM), devising shop floor layouts and ensuring best principal manufacturing is being applied at all stages. With a background in an electro-mechanical assembly environment as Manufacturing Engineer you will: Work closely with Engineering and Research & Development to support the smooth introduction of new products and processes (Process development) Take responsibility for writing and maintaining Work Instructions and BoM's Devising line and production layouts to maximise efficiency & flow. Utilising your lean skills to identify and implement advanced manufacturing techniques / modern manufacturing processes. Capex identifying the need for equipment and tooling To succeed in this interesting role, you will ideally be HNC/D qualified and have proven experience in a Manufacturing Engineering / Production Engineering capacity with specific knowledge of: Electro/Mechanical assembly Familiar with working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment New Product Introduction (NPI) / Design for Manufacture (DFM) Supporting manufacturing tooling and layouts / routings Process development. Writing work instructions A hands-on can-do-attitude is vital. Excellent problem-solving skills essential as are first class communication skills.
