Long-Term Teachers
We are working with fantastic mainstream and SEND schools for pupils, and we are looking for more qualified primary school teachers to join us in supporting these local schools.
We seek a caring, dedicated, qualified teacher who can build trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. It is essential that you have at least 2 years of UK teaching experience. You will be planning and delivering sessions for students in Key Stage 2, so prior experience teaching this key stage is desirable.
Essential requirements prior to application:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching across the primary phase
* Proven classroom teaching experience
* Experience in setting targets, monitoring, assessment, and performance evaluation to raise pupil achievement
* Ability to work well within a team
* Understanding of SEND and support strategies
Key responsibilities:
* Setting and evaluating individual termly targets; maintaining achievement records for children and young people (CYP) in consultation with colleagues
* Providing reports and assessments for CYP according to school policy and for various audiences, including detailed reports before annual reviews
* Maintaining effective communication with parents/carers regarding their child's welfare, progress, and participation in school activities
* Ensuring pupil safeguarding by following Education Provisions (EP) safeguarding policies, reporting concerns to the Safeguarding team, and recording information on the EP safeguarding system
