An exciting opportunity has arisen for the Governing Board to appoint a dynamic and inspiring Assistant Head Teacher/Early Years Lead to join with effect from September 2024. The successful candidate will be experienced and passionate about the Early Years.
We are looking for an inspirational, ambitious and strategic leader who can build on the many strengths of the school and work in partnership with our Headteacher and Governors at Atkinson Road Primary Academy. The successful candidate will have a drive and vision to shape EYFS, working in partnership with the Headteacher to create outstanding experiences for our young children.
We are very proud of our Early Years unit which is situated in large grounds and housed in a large, recently renovated and refurbished site which includes a new extension which will link our buildings.
Atkinson Road Primary Academy, part of the Laidlaw Schools Trust is a vibrant, warm and welcoming place catering for pupils aged two years to eleven years. The successful candidate will join a successful MAT where all Academies support each other to the benefit of our pupils and their families. Our Academies also enjoy strong support from an experienced LST central team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
